A Letter to my First Born

A letter to my first born-

.

The next few months are going to bring a lot of changes to your little world. You’re no longer going to be the littlest one in the house, but now you get to be our big man-a big bro, my helper toddler, second man-in-command!

.

I know you’ll get sad, jealous even, that all our attention won’t be on just you all of the time and we’re prepared for that battle. Just know that we love you just as much as we did before and nothing you could do will ever change that (except watch you become said big bro, that very well could make our hearts burst!)

.

Your little brother is going to be very needy, but that’s where you come in! I know you’ll be a great help with tummy time, story time, feeding time, bath time and give plenty of your sweet snuggles (they’re the best, you know).

.

Your little bro will need someone to look after him and show him the way, the world even! Your never-ending curiosity that inspires everyone will also inspire him; I cannot wait to watch all of your adventures.

.

Everything about you is infectious in the best ways possible. You’re going to be an amazing big brother, because you’re already an amazing son, person. You were my/our first blessing, and that you’ll always be. Stay wild, my perfect child. 💙
